It’s been quite a while since my last blog post, and so much has changed. At first, I was hesitant to dive back into writing after such a long break, but I believe in sharing what’s on my heart. As I navigate this new chapter of my life, I realize there’s so much more I want to express.

For the past two years, I’ve pushed my passion for writing and self-expression aside, all because of fear. But that ends today. I’m making a comeback because writing is my outlet—it’s how I process my emotions in a way that feels right to me. So, here’s a little life update on what I’ve been up to over the past few years.

Family Life

Over the past couple of years, I took a step back from blogging to focus on healing and nurturing my relationship. My negative mindset and unresolved past traumas were taking a toll on the connection I shared with my partner, and I knew I needed to prioritize my mental health for the sake of our future together. Seeking therapy was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made—it gave me the tools to confront my inner struggles, break free from harmful patterns, and rebuild a healthier foundation for myself and my relationship. That journey of self-discovery not only strengthened our bond but also prepared us for one of the most beautiful chapters of our lives: welcoming our baby girl in February 2024. Becoming a mother has been nothing short of life-changing, and it’s a blessing I never take for granted.

Adjusting to life as a new mom has been a whirlwind of emotions and challenges. The sleepless nights, constant feedings, and learning to navigate this new role have been both overwhelming and rewarding. On top of it all, I’ve been working through the ups and downs of postpartum recovery, which has been an emotional journey in itself. Therapy continues to be a crucial part of my life as I navigate the hormonal shifts, self-doubt, and the process of finding balance in this new phase. Despite the challenges, motherhood has given me a deeper sense of purpose and a well of love I didn’t know I had. As I continue to grow and heal, I’m learning to embrace the imperfect beauty of this season while staying grounded in gratitude for how far I’ve come.

Career

Since returning to work after maternity leave, I’ve been adjusting to the unique balance of working from home while caring for my daughter. Having the flexibility to be present for her milestones while avoiding daycare expenses has been a blessing. My current role allows me to contribute to our family’s needs while still being hands-on during this precious phase of her life. However, I’ve always envisioned a future where I work for myself, turning my passions into a thriving business. For now, my full-time job serves as a steppingstone, helping me save and invest in the tools and resources I need to bring that dream to life.

One of my main goals is to strengthen my online presence as a nano influencer, using my voice and creativity to inspire and connect with others. Consistency is key, and I’m committed to showing up authentically in everything I do—from content creation to personal development. Building a strong foundation now is a crucial step toward eventually transitioning into full-time entrepreneurship. While the journey has its challenges, balancing work, motherhood, and my aspirations fills me with purpose and keeps me motivated to keep striving for the life I’ve always envisioned.

Health & Well-being

My fitness journey since going on a hiatus and becoming a new mom has been anything but easy. Balancing breastfeeding, a full-time job, family responsibilities, and postpartum depression often feels like a juggling act with no room for error. The struggle to regain my pre-pregnancy weight is real, and some days it feels like an uphill battle. Between sleepless nights, feeding schedules, and the emotional toll of postpartum recovery, finding time and energy to prioritize my health can be overwhelming. But I remind myself that this journey isn’t just about numbers on a scale—it’s about reclaiming my strength and creating a healthier lifestyle for myself and my family.

Leading by example is one of the greatest gifts I can give my daughter. I want her to grow up seeing a mom who values her well-being and makes time to care for herself, even amidst life’s chaos. Getting in shape isn’t just about looking good; it’s about having the stamina to keep up with her as she grows and the mental clarity to navigate the challenges of motherhood. Every small step I take—whether it’s a quick workout, a healthy meal choice, or simply choosing to rest—brings me closer to my goals. This journey is teaching me resilience, patience, and the importance of showing up for myself, all of which are lessons I hope to pass on to my little girl.
